Am 18. März haben wir in den ehrwürdigen Hallen des Museums für angewandte Kunst den Neptun Wasserpreis der Stadt Wien in der Kategorie WasserKommunikation erhalten. Auch 2008 ging erfolgreich zu Ende: Nach unserem Vortrag an der NUTEC (erste Cradle-to-Cradle-Messe) im November 2008 in Frankfurt, wo wir unser Netzwerk erfolgreich erweitern konnten, ging’s weiter zur Utopia Konferenz nach Berlin, wo wir zB. Daryl Hannah (Kill Bill) oder Lawrence Bender (Regisseur von "An Inconvenient Truth") mit Gebrauchsinformationen versorgen konnten. Im Dezember wurde die Gebrauchsinformation gleich doppelt ausgezeichnet! Erst wurde unsere Arbeit von der UNESCO zum offiziellen UN-Dekadenprojekt für Bildung und nachhaltige Entwicklung erklärt, und wenige Tage danach erhielten wir eine Auszeichnung beim Red Dot Design Award in Essen. |

On 18th March in the dignified hall of the Museum for Applied Arts we received the Neptune Waterprize of the City of Vienna in the category: WaterCommunication. The year 2008 ended ssucessfully: Following our speech in November 2008 at the NUTEC in Frankfurt (first Cradle-to-Cradle trade show), where we were sucessful in expanding our network, we continued on to the Utopia Conference in Berlin, where we distributed the Directions for Use to interesting personalities like the actress Daryl Hannah (Kill Bill) or Lawrence Bender (Director of "An Inconvenient Truth"). In December the Directions for Use was handed two awards: first we were honoured by UNESCO as an official UN-Decade Project for Education and Sustainable Development, and a few days later we were awarded at the Red Dot Design Award in Essen. |
